AOL Blackjack Guide

AOL Free Online Blackjack Game

Play BlackjackThe AOL blackjack channel, which is co-sponsored by GSN, the Network for Games, was announced as an add-on to their AOL Games offerings on January 13, 2006. The "blackjack hub" will offer free blackjack games, tips from professional blackjack players, and behind the scenes videos from the filming of GSN's World Series of Blackjack show.

AOL games has been a popular part of the company's offerings to their subscribers since its inception, and the casino games, especially blackjack, are some of the most popular pieces of that puzzle. AOL has also recently launched a free poker game in partnership with Harrahs and the World Series of Poker, and they've launched a channel called AOL Vegas, which offers casino games like roulette and craps, travel planning, and other content related to Las Vegas style gambling games.

Beginning January 19, 2006 and ending on February 8, 2006, AOL and GSN co-sponsored a sweepstakes. 8 winners of this sweepstakes will win Las Vegas trips in order to play qualifying tournaments for the actual World Series of Blackjack event.

As far as I know, AOL has no plans at this time to offer any kind of real-money blackjack or any other casino games on their site, but if this situation changes at some time in the future, this site will be updated accordingly.

Use bonus code "DOUBLEDOWN" to get a 200% deposit bonus of up to $1000 at Rushmore Casino, one of the only casino bonuses that allows you to play blackjack toward their wagering requirements.

AOL Blackjack Facts

1. AOL blackjack games are free. In fact, when you play blackjack on AOL, it can't cost you any money, because AOL doesn't allow real gambling or betting at all.

2. AOL blackjack is only one of many games offered by AOL games. AOL offers 600 different games, including 103 different card games and board games.

3. The AOL blackjack channel isn't just about blackjack games you can play. They also offer videos explaining blackjack strategy and video highlights from the World Series of Blackjack.

4. The AOL blackjack channel also offers free blackjack tournaments (in addition to the normal play money blackjack games.) These blackjack tournaments take place daily.

5. The AOL blackjack section features a blackjack player gallery in the menu, but at the time of this writing, there are no pictures featured there. I'm not sure if that's because they took the pictures down or never put them up. But it's kind of an interesting factoid, in my opinion.
